Ava’s Allies, a 501(c)(3) Non-Profit Charity, is the dream child of its 15 year-old President, Ava Thomas. After being diagnosed with Lyme Disease in 2018 and suffering the effects of chronic Lyme which left her unable to attend school many days and even make it out of bed in 5th grade, Ava was inspired to help other kids with illness that felt helpless and isolated like she did during her illnesses.
